Armed with an uncanny ability to deliver across all genres, breaking singer / songwriter Jadelyn is unrivaled, earning herself over 5 million streams on Spotify and a Top 200 placement on the Dance Charts.
Born in Washington State, small town girl Jadelyn displayed a passion for music at a very young age singing country music in her hometown coffee shops and talent shows. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2018 to pursue a triple-threat career in entertainment, she has spent the last few years diving into different genres and collaborating with other artists on tracks that push her out of her comfort zone in order to discover the sound she feels most authentically represents Jadelyn. Her collaborative releases thus far have landed global recognition and placement on Spotify’s highly esteemed curated New Music Friday playlists, garnered public acclaim from DJ legends Tiesto and Don Diablo, as well as received international radio play.
Finding solace in her songwriting and recordings, Jadelyn proudly shares a very personal, non-glammed up side of herself with listeners. By elaborating on human experience through her own trials and tribulations, her goal is to unapologetically show the world who she really is and inspire others to do the same.
"I've realized that as long as I'm pushing honesty into my music, that's what matters. Music has always been my outlet to share my stories. It's impossible for people to get to know me through Instagram photos. I hope people can listen and relate. I hope I can help people to know they are not alone. I hope I can continue showing you all who Jadelyn is. The good, the bad, and all of the in between.” - Jadelyn
‘I Don't Want Your Love’ is a slowed down bittersweet pop melancholy showcasing lyrical vulnerability throughout the verses and a boldly harmonized chorus intended to punch you in the heart. While some may be quick to assume this is just a breakup song, the lyrics tie together several hints indicating that although this may be a goodbye to a lovely relationship that was not meant to be, this is also an empowering self developmental phase needed to transition into womanhood, and ultimately learning to follow your gut instinct.
"When I started writing the song, I knew I didn’t want this to be just another breakup song. We’ve all been in toxic relationships, we’ve all been treated badly at some point, but this one was different. He was kind, genuine, and an overall good person. Yet, something in me knew he wasn’t meant for me. This song dives into how it feels to push love away, when the person on the other end didn’t necessarily do anything wrong. For the most part, I have always been the one hurt in relationships, so this was the first time I felt what it was like to be on the other side. While it never feels good to hurt someone, I felt proud of myself for being honest and following my heart. The easy thing to do in this situation would be to stay silent and complacent. The message here is that it’s ok to try things and them not to work out. It’s part of life. It’s a part of learning who you are. It’s a part of personal growth.” - Jadelyn
